At Safety Management Professionals, we are committed to providing high-quality safety software, training, and digital resources. Our refund policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
2. Consumer Guarantees Under Australian Law
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product or service:

Has a major problem (e.g., it is faulty, misleading, or unfit for purpose).

Fails to meet acceptable quality standards as per Australian Consumer Law.
We are not required to provide a refund if you:

3. Digital Products & Templates
Our digital resources, including safety management templates, training materials, and other downloadable content, are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded unless:

The file is corrupt or inaccessible and we are unable to resolve the issue.

The product materially differs from its advertised description.
It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to review, customise, and finalise all template-based documents to ensure compliance with company policies, site-specific requirements, and applicable Australian laws.
4. Software & Learning Management Systems (LMS)
For software, subscriptions, and LMS-related services:

Trial Periods & Demos: We may offer free trials or demonstrations before purchase. Please utilise these options to evaluate the suitability of our software.

Refunds for Software Issues: If our software fails to function as described and we are unable to resolve the issue, you may be eligible for a refund or credit.

Subscription Cancellations: Recurring subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but refunds will not be provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.
5. Training & Consultancy Services
For in-person and online training services:

Cancellation by Customer: A full refund is available if cancellation is made at least 5 business days before the scheduled training session. A 50% refund is available for cancellations made within 2–4 business days. No refunds are provided for cancellations within 48 hours of the session.

Cancellation by Us: If we cancel a scheduled training session, customers will receive a full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.
